Tall Roots is offering three bursaries for Aspiring Charity Chief Executives
Are you an aspiring Charity Chief Executive and from a low socio-economic background?
A recent report by the EY Foundation further highlighted that people from low socioeconomic backgrounds are underrepresented in the charity sector. This is even more true in charity leadership roles. People from low-income backgrounds who bring talent, but who lack financial security and influential networks struggle to obtain the top jobs in the sector.
Tall Roots is aiming to help correct this imbalance by offering three bursaries of £2,295 towards the Aspiring Chief Executive Programme (ACE), run by the Centre for Charity Effectiveness (CCE) at Bayes Business School, to people from low socioeconomic backgrounds.
This flagship program includes engaging sessions delivered by leadership development specialists and non-profit CEOs. To be eligible, you must meet Bayes CCE’s criteria and be willing to cover the remaining £500 course fee balance either personally or through your employer. Special requests for full funding will be considered on an individual basis.
Apply now by visiting Bayes’ CCE’s website (link below), where you will be asked to share how your experience of social mobility has helped to shape you as a charity leader and what you want your legacy to be as a Chief Executive in the sector.
Applications close on Friday, 29th November 2024. For enquiries, contact hello@tallroots.co.uk.
