Global Witness appoints Co-Directors to lead its Campaigns team

Tall Roots was proud to support global investigative, campaigning organisation Global Witness to appoint Co-Directors of Campaigns following an innovative and careful executive search process.

Shruti Suresh is an experienced leader, lawyer and strategist working at the intersection of environmental, climate, and human rights issues. She joined Global Witness, where she spent almost ten years in strategic campaigns roles.

Sam joins Global Witness from Oxfam GB, where he has spent the past five years overseeing its shift towards a more decolonial and partner-led form of campaigning.. He brings broad strategic campaigns and policy experience, including five years at Stonewall, most recently as Director of Campaigns, Policy and Research. Sam has also sat on the Board of The Climate Coalition.
