Matthew Wilkley appointed as Director of Income & External Affairs at Turn2us

A huge congratulations to Matt Wilkley, who recently joined Turn2us as Director of Income & External Affairs!

Matt brings more than 20 years’ experience across fundraising, partnerships, communications and external affairs, having held senior roles with organisations including the National Literacy Trust, National Trust, Independent Age, Centrepoint and Camphill Village Trust.

In his new role, Matt will bring together Turn2us's voluntary and earned income, brand and communications, and influencing. A key focus will be ensuring that the voices and experiences of people facing financial insecurity remain central to how Turn2us builds its income and external partnerships.

We thoroughly enjoyed partnering with Turn2us again on the search and getting to know Matt through the process. His breadth of experience, values-led approach and commitment to tackling poverty made for a strong alignment with Turn2us and its ambitions for the role.

Congratulations to Matt on his appointment. We’re looking forward to seeing the impact he and the wider Turn2us team make together.
